Description

Our NZSL courses aim to equip learners with essential skills for effective communication in everyday service contexts and health discussions.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify and describe everyday service needs, such as repairs and electrical work, enhancing problem-solving skills in real-life situations.

  • Discuss and evaluate various services and utilities, including pricing and quality, to make informed decisions about service usage.

  • Express and respond to service concerns, fostering effective communication and support in service-related interactions.

  • Make suggestions and recommendations for services based on personal experiences, promoting critical thinking and community engagement.

  • Explain common illnesses and suggest appropriate treatments, empowering learners to navigate health discussions confidently.

  • Discuss general health and wellbeing issues, articulate personal opinions, and contribute to meaningful conversations in health contexts.

  • Share personal experiences related to health and wellbeing, promoting empathy and understanding in discussions about health matters.
